Lee-Ann is passionate about children’s learning and development, her vision is to see the pupils and ultimately the school reach its potential and succeed to the highest levels. Lee-Ann is currently Chair of the Cheshunt and Waltham Cross Headteacher’s association, a member of Primary Heads Form and works closely with the local charity CHEXS. Outside of school Lee-Ann likes to spend socialising with her friends and family, cooking, eating out and travelling around the world!
Ian lives in walking distance from the school and has two children, both of whom have moved on from Longlands and now attend a local secondary school. He works as a director at a FTSE 100 company in the City of London and has served on the governing body for 8 years having started as a parent governor. Ian is now the Chair of the Governing Body and works closely with the head, staff and the vice chairs of governors to assist the school at every opportunity.
Nicola began working at Longlands during her final PGCE placement in the Spring of 2009. She then joined the teaching team and worked in a variety of years groups across the school for the next five years. In this time Nicola took on the roles of PE and Maths subject leader and joined the Senior Leadership Team. In 2014, Nicola left Longlands to become Assistant Head at a large primary school in Welwyn Garden City; maintaining a teaching role in Year 2. As of September 2017, Nicola took up a new post as Primary Teaching and Learning Adviser, for HfL. She enjoys working with a variety of schools across the county to support the development of teaching and learning in Mathematics. This includes running training events, developing Mathematics curriculum, modelling lessons, data analysis and developing the role of Maths Subject Leaders. Nicola joined the Governing body in November 2017 and enjoys working with the team at Longlands again.

As the years have passed, Donna has enjoyed teaching across a range of year groups and is currently working with Y2. Over the last few years, she has worked on both the Primary Science Quality Mark award and the National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership, completing both successfully, which enabled her to develop the school grounds and raise the profile of Science within the school.
