Our Grow Club children have been busy looking after our school garden, making sure all of our plants are well watered and cared for. This week, we planted even more flowers  in our recycled old sinks, giving them a wonderful new lease of life. The children have loved learning about how vegetables, flowers and herbs grow,

Grow club has begun! We have been busy planting sunflowers, carrots, turnips, radishes and more.

We have had a great day, starting with a whole school assembly where we paraded our outfits and shared our book characters! We then were treated to 4 different stories throughout the day with a mystery reader, and lots of fun was had and many stories were shared!

Pupils had a wonderful morning out at Cedars Park working with CHEXs as part of a Community Habitat session, where they helped to clear some of the leaves around the paths. Younger pupils from a neighbouring school were also in attendance and it has been reported that the Longlands pupils were excellent role models and
