As part of Year 6’s History topic, WW1 and the local area we had a visit from Hertford museum. Pupils heard stories about local Hertford war hero Albert Burt, looked at original photographs, replica Vicoria Cross medals and spent time trying on an original soldier’s coat and bag to feel how heavy it was!
